FreeWave Technologies has been notified of a number of fraudulent emails from individuals claiming to be representatives of our company that are making job offers and requesting personal information. These emails are typically not from a FreeWave email address, instead using a Gmail or other domain. We have also received reports of suspicious phone calls and text messages making FreeWave job offers. All FreeWave job offers are made with via a formal offer letter and never with a simple email or text. Please DO NOT provide any personal information in response to any of these emails.
If you have received a suspicious email or text claiming to be from FreeWave, please email firstname.lastname@example.org so we may investigate further.
FreeWave Technologies encourage everyone to be cautious when dealing with unknown parties. Should you receive a suspicious email, you should report the email to your email provider and do not respond to the sender. In the case of calls or text messages, you should report it to your cellular provider, and also report it to the FTC at http://ftc.gov/complaint.
